This online publication is a guide to the Status and Distribution of Birds on the Outer Hebrides / Western Isles and summarised for every species and each of the main islands and outliers. More details can be found in the Introduction of the main menu (top right).

By its very nature, this will always be a work-in-progress. As time passes and the status of birds change, there will be regular updates and improvements to ensure that it is current and accurate.

While the main menu (top right) is publicly available, we are requesting a small fee (£2.50 – payable when registering) to access the main body of this website. As a small, voluntary group, we are almost totally reliant upon such donations which maintains our online presence and will help finance future bird reports and publications. Sample pages have been provided in the main menu in order to give an insight as to the content of this online resource.
