Following the publication of “The status of our bird populations: the fifth Birds of Conservation Concern in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man and second IUCN Red List assessment of extinction risk for Great Britain (December 2021), the following species have been recategorised.

The following species has been lost as a breeding bird and is therefore removed from the Red List and is no longer monitored.

The following species have been downgraded to the Amber List having formally been on the Red List
